Big weekend of festivals include music, food, more

It’s looking like a warm and relatively rain-free weekend, and there are plenty of opportunities to get outside. Here are a few options.

Festival fun

It’s a big weekend for outdoor festivals all over themetro Atlanta area. If food is your focus, check out the Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival at Cauble Park at Acworth Beach, happening today and Saturday (4425 Beach St., Acworth. 770-714-7135, www.smokeonthelake. org).

Or maybe you’d prefer wings, which you’ll fifind in abundance at the Slingin’ Wings Festival at Brookhaven Park (2660 Osborne Road, www. slinginwingsfestival.com). That’s taking place on Saturday and it’s $15-$35.
