■ Milton Memorial Day Ceremony. 10-11 a.m. Monday. Freedom Park, 13200 Deerfield Parkway, Milton. The ceremony includes presentation of the colors by the Milton Public Safety Color Guard, a combined honor guard from the Milton Police and Fire Departments and Milton bagpiper Bob Kaus. Jordan Thorne, winner of the recent Milton’s Got Talent competition, will sing the National Anthem and “God Bless America.” Keynote speakers will be Nicholas “Nick” Snider, founder of the National Foundation of Patriotism, and the foundation’s Executive Director Patricia Stansbury. ■ Roswell MemorialDay Ceremony. 10 a.m. Monday. Free. Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill St., Roswell. This largest Memorial Day Ceremony in Georgia is hosted by the city of Roswell and the Roswell Rotary Club. Displays open to the public at 10 a.m. followed by pre-ceremony music at 10:15 a.m. The 11 a.m. program includes the Presentation of Colors, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, Invocation, Let We Forget (POW/MIA), Laying of the Wreath, featured speaker, Benediction, 21-Gun Salute and “Taps.” Then enjoy a picnic on the grounds or purchase BBQ on site and listen to a live performance by The Chuck Nation Band.
