Comments on federal funding due by June 7

Comments from the Cobb community will be accepted through June 7 on federal funding — the same day of a public review meeting at 10 a.m. at the Cobb County Board of Commission­ers Meeting Room, 100 Cherokee St., Marietta.

The federal funding will come from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developmen­t to serve the needs of lowand moderate-income persons of Cobb County. Proposed allocation­s include:

■ $3,710,086 for the Community Developmen­t Block Grant

■ $1,606,366 for the HOME Investment Partnershi­ps

■ $284,440 for the Emergency Solutions Grant
