Old Soldiers Day Parade: “Courage and Valor — Honoring the Valiant History of America’s Horse Soldiers.” 9:15 a.m. Aug. 4 (rain or shine). Roswell Street to Wills Road, Alpharetta. The City Band will perform on Roswell Street at 9:15 a.m. The Memorial Service will begin at 10 a.m. and the parade at 10:30 a.m. with floats and high school bands. The parade will end at American Legion Post 201 on Wills Road where there will be free Varsity hot dogs, free soft drinks, many activities and prizes.
