Cardi B needs some more time with her newborn daughter.

The 25-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper announced Thursday night that she won’t be joining Bruno Mars on his “24K Magic World Tour” in order to stay home with Kulture, who was born barely two weeks ago.

“I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing,” the Bronx-born rapper said in a statement on Instagram late Thursday.

“Not only am I just not ready physically, I’m not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it’s not healthy for her to be on the road. I hope you guys understand that this decision has been the hardest to make but I have to do what’s best for myself and my baby!”

Mars responded on his own Instagram page, saying that Cardi B’s health was the priority.

“I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing,” he wrote. “I also know we’ll share the stage when the time is right.”

The rapper gave birth to Kulture on July 10 after announcing the secret pregnancy during an April performance on “Saturday Night Live.”

Husband Offset was arrested just 10 days later when Atlanta police allegedly found a gun and marijuana inside his car.

Cardi B was supposed to begin her tour with Mars in early September in Denver, with stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn and Los Angeles.
