S&P upgrades schools’ bond rating

The Forsyth County School District has announced that Standard & Poor’s has upgraded the district’s bond rating to the highest possible level, AAA.

The action makes Forsyth only the second school district in Georgia and one of 17 in the nation to receive AAA ratings from both Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s, officials said. Moody’s upgraded its rating of the Forsyth schools in 2017.
