MLB: Cleveland placed OF Leonys Martin on the 10-day DL. Manager Terry Francona said Martin was dealing with an intestinal issue.

■ Boston moved LHP Drew Pomeranz to the bullpen and will keep RHP Brian Johnson as a starter after ace lefty Chris Sale returns from the disabled list. Pomeranz, 1-5 with a 6.31 ERA, is winless in eight starts since May 2.

■ The Dodgers activated RHP Ross Stripling from the DL.
