■ 2017 season wrapup: Haselwood is the No. 1 wide receiver prospect and No. 3 overall player in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He was a first-team all-state player in 2017, when he had 792 yards and 17 touchdowns receiving and nine interceptions on defense. Haselwood was fourth in DeKalb County receiving yards despite playing for a run-first team. Cedar Grove finished the year 13-1.

■ What’s also interesting: Haselwood won the 110-meter hurdles at the Class AAA meet in 14.38 seconds last spring.

■ 2017 season wrapup: Pappoe recovered from a hip injury that forced him to miss all of spring practice and went on to record 62 tackles, including nine for losses, and a fumble recovery. He was selected as a first-team all-state player in Class AAAAAAA and led Grayson to a 10-2 record. Pappoe is considered the nation’s top outside linebacker prospect and is rated as the No. 11 player overall.

■ What’s interesting: Pappoe put up the second-highest testing score at this year’s The Opening, which brings together the nation’s top recruits, who are measured in the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, shuttle run and kneeling power ball toss.
