Concert for all: Get ready for an evening of music with local musicians during Acoustic Shabbat Cafe at Alon’s Bakery (4505 Ashford Dunwoody Road). The evening will celebrate people of all faiths and background­s through live acoustic music, cheerful songs and blessings. Anniversar­y celebratio­n: As part of a month-long 47th anniversar­y celebratio­n, TC Carson and L’Tanya “Sugarlips” Shields will headline Jazz on the Hill, an outdoor concert. Carson, an accomplish­ed singer, is best known for portraying Kyle Barker on “Living Single” as well as doing voiceovers for Mace Windu on “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” Shields, as a member of Voice of Atlanta choir, previously recorded and accompanie­d Sir Elton John during his Peachtree Road World Tour. General admission is $15 and attendees should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets; reserved seating is $25 or $125 for a table of 8.
