Display your lantern creations during the monthly ArtWalk that begins at 5 p.m. Enjoy food and drink in downtown Avondale’s local restaurant­s, or grab something from ArtWalk street vendors. At 7:30 p.m., parade participan­ts may gather at the grass triangle at Berkley/Kensington Road to begin their walk at 7:45 p.m. to the lake. Chantelle Rytter, the originator of the BeltLine, Decatur and Sandy Springs Lantern Parades, will lead these lantern-making workshops at Little Tree Art Studios, 2834 Franklin St., Avondale Estates.
