Laura Deems ‘The Art Drop’

Join artist Laura Deems and Ann Mashburn, purveyor of fashion, for an evening of art, music and more. Deems will unveil 12 new works of art which incorporat­e Mashburn’s Fall 2018 mood boards. ‘I Voted?’ a special screening

Georgia Coalition and Common Cause Georgia present an exclusive onenight screening of “I Voted?” The film, from executive producer Katie Couric and filmmaker Jason Smith, asks questions on the minds of voters in Georgia and across the country. Smith spent six years examining American democracy beginning with his exploratio­n of the South Carolina U.S. Senate primary. How do any of us know if your our votes count? ‘Charlie Parker’s Yardbird’

See Le Maison Rouge at Paris on Ponce transforme­d into Birdland nightclub for an evening of total immersion in the world of jazz great Charlie Parker. The 90-minute jazz opera tells the fictional story of Parker existing somewhere between life and death while composing his final masterpiec­e and reflecting on his life of music, drugs and women.
