Miss Alexandra Camille Van Dyck Weds Mr. Bryan Michael Hurlman

Miss Alexandra Camille Van Dyck and Mr. Bryan Michael Hurlman were united in marriage on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at half past six o’clock in the evening, at Flint Hill, a circa 1835 mansion, in Norcross, Georgia. The ceremony was officiated by Monsignor Henry Gracz. The Ceremony reading was performed by Shannon Anfindsen, Bridesmaid and friend of the Bride. The Bride’s parents hosted a sumptuous buffet dinner and reception also at Flint Hill. The Groom provided the music with “Emerald Empire,” a six-piece dance band. On the eve of the wedding, the Groom’s parents hosted an “I Do” BBQ rehearsal dinner at the home of the Bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Jean Van Dyck. The Bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Van Dyck of Snellville, Georgia. She is the granddaugh­ter of Mr. Alex Malon and the late Mrs. Maryann Malon of Ooltewah, Tennessee; the late Mr. and Mrs. Hank Ungar of Los Angeles, California, and the late Mr. Gerhardt Van Dyck of Bridgeport, Connecticu­t. The Groom is the son of Ms. Patricia O’Gorman of Pittsboro, North Carolina and Mr. John Hurlman of Holly Springs, North Carolina. He is the grandson of Mrs. Jacqueline O’Gorman of Pittsboro, North Carolina and the late Mr. John Joseph O’Gorman of Pelham, New York; and the late Mr. John Frederick Hurlman of Lake Placid, Florida and the late Ms. Margaret Theresa Hresko of Yonkers, New York. Given in marriage, escorted by her parents, the Bride wore a stunning and chic fit and flare gown with a v-cut neckline designed by Mikaella Bridal. This timeless gown was created using one of a kind natural embroidere­d lace over pearl colored lining. To lend contempora­ry touches to this unique gown, Mikaella added multiple thin satin bands across the bodice and descending Italian tulle inserts down each side. The scalloped lace hem adds a romantic finishing touch to this timeless gown. The crowning finish to her exquisite look was her one-tiered elbow length veil with a matching crocheted scalloped edge. To accent her attire, the Bride carried a hand tied bouquet of snowy jewel and white majolica spray roses, white ranunculus, white lisianthus, parvafolia and silver dollar eucalyptus. The Bride also wore a family heirloom necklace bequeathed to her by her Grandmothe­r. She looked exquisite wearing her O’mama’s pearl necklace. The Maids of Honor and Bridesmaid­s wore different shades of purple in a variety of floor length styles and fabrics. Each carried a hand-tied bouquet of similar flowers to the Bride with the Maids of Honor also carrying an addition of purple tipped lisianthus, and the Bridesmaid­s carrying an addition of purple lisianthus. Her Maids of Honor, Miss Emily Jacobsen, Miss Rachel Waldron, and Bridesmaid­s, Miss Caroline Clements and Ms. Laura Gardner, of Atlanta, Georgia, along with Miss Shannon Andfindsen of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mrs. Kaitlin Brueggeman, sister of the Groom, of Chesapeake, Virginia, and the Flower Girl, Miss Olivia Hancock, cousin of the Groom, of Middletown, New York completed her Bridal Party. The Groom wore a midnight blue tuxedo designed by J. Hilburn and the Groomsmen wore designer black tuxedos by Michael Kors. The Groom chose six Groomsmen, including two Best Men: Mr. Christophe­r Hurlman, brother of the Groom, of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Mr. Darren Gardner of Greenville, South Carolina. The other Groomsmen were Mr. Ian Griffin of Asheville, North Carolina; Mr. Tyler Tarr of Golden, Colorado; Mr. Garrett Van Dyck, brother of the Bride, of Athens, Georgia, and Mr. Trey Harris of Orlando, Florida and his son Master Hudson Harris, the Ring Bearer. Mr. Joseph Coss of Mount Holly, North Carolina and Mr. Carlos Cordero of Tampa, Florida were the Ushers. The Bride is a graduate of Brookwood High School, Snellville, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She is currently a Regional Sales Manager, employed by Filter Easy, serving their East Coast territory. The Groom is a graduate of Northwood High School, Pittsboro, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. He is currently a Division Manager for CUTCO corporatio­n and oversees all office locations throughout Virginia and West Virginia. They used their direct sales experience to further their careers. They took a mini moon at the Saint Regis Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia and are planning a destinatio­n honeymoon to the South Pacific or Europe sometime next year. The couple currently resides in Fairfax, Virginia.
