Where can I find it?
Since summer is over, so is the optimum season to sell outdoor furniture. However, Kudzu Antiques, 2928 E. Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur, 404-373-6498, deals in mid-century modern furniture, and the store sold a vintage Ficks Reed set last summer. In fact, I was told it sold quickly. Established in 1885, Cincinnatibased Ficks Reed, which produced wicker and rattan furnishings, closed its doors in 2011, making some pristine pieces collectible. Note that Kudzu isn’t a consignment store but it will buy furniture outright at wholesale prices. To see if your inherited furniture might be of interest, email photos and include the condition of the pieces to info@kudzuantiques. com. If you absolutely need to sell it now, go ahead, but if you can wait until next spring, you might get a better price.
I absolutely love the fragrance of the pink grapefruit Neutrogena body wash. Unfortunately, I often have trouble finding this particular scent. The regular scent is easy to find, but this is my favorite. If you could find it for me, you would make my day. Thank you. — Connie Evans, email
Neutrogena Body Clear body wash pink grapefruit is available in an 8.5-ounce bottle for $5.99 at Walgreens, 595 Piedmont Ave., Atlanta, 404-685-9665.
I recently moved to the Decatur area and I’m still trying to find my way around. I’m interested in finding Beekman 1802 soaps and lotions. I love their products but haven’t found them locally. Thank you very much. — B. Jones, Decatur
