This season’s “Bard Show” put on by the Atlanta Bar Association will honor Cathy O’Neil, the highly respected attorney who founded the popular production.

O’Neil, a former federal prosecutor, passed away in October 2017 at age 53 after a 13-month battle with pancreatic cancer. This year’s show — “A Bard Show Tribute: One Singular Sensation” — will feature some of the best songs O’Neil wrote, choreographed and directed since the first show in 1999.

The comedy show features musical parodies and raises money for charity.

Tickets are available for two shows Nov. 16 and Nov. 17 at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center. They can be purchased via the City Springs Online Box Office’s website: bit.do/bardtribute.

O’Neil’s husband, Georgia Supreme Court Justice David Nahmias, will be among the legal luminaries in the show.

Others performing in the production are U.S. Attorney Byung J. “BJay” Pak, criminal defense attorney Don Samuel, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney and Court of Appeals judges Sara Doyle and Christopher McFadden. There will also be cameo appearances from Supreme Court justices and local trial court judges, Alison Nazarowski, one of the show’s producers, said.

Ticket proceeds benefit the charitable programs of the Atlanta Bar Foundation, which promotes equal access to justice, aids youth programs and maintains a grant program to support Atlanta legal service providers who help low-income citizens.
