School district to offer international program
Arnold Elementary School, Suder Elementary School and Elite Scholars Academy have been given final approval by Cambridge Assessment International Education to offer its world-class Cambridge program. Clayton County becomes the only school system in Georgia to offer this advanced instructional program.
“The final acceptance of our three schools is wonderful news,” said Morcease J. Beasley, superintendent/CEO.
Cambridge Primary is an international education program taught in more than 1,300 primary schools in over 113 countries. It is typically for learners aged 5 to 11 years and develops skills and understanding in English, mathema t ics, science a nd Global Perspectives — a crosscurricular subject that inspires learners to be curious and think independently. The Friday concert will feature all three choirs with a onenight-only performance by the Young Artists.
