Fatal crash: A Kentucky man who drove the wrong way on Interstate 75 near Lexington earlier this month in a crash that killed a Michigan family of five had a blood alcohol content level nearly four times above the legal limit, according to the coroner. Joey Lee Bailey, 41, had a BAC of 0.306 and was at fault in the crash that occurred Jan. 6, according to Coroner Gary Ginn.

Fake news: Fake editions of The Washington Post claiming that President Donald Trump was leaving office were handed out Wednesday at multiple locations in Washington, D.C. The print papers — which at a quick glance look strikingly similar to actual copies of The Post — were filled with anti-Trump stories, which also appeared on a website that mimicked the official Post site.

Teacher strike: A LosAngeles teachers union leader hinted of a possible resumption of contract bargaining as striking educators in the second largest U.S. school district walked picket lines outside hundreds of schools. Teachers are pressing for higher pay, smaller class sizes and more support staff that school officials say could bankrupt the system.
