Two technology firms Thursday announced plans to expand their operations in metro Atlanta, creating more than 100 jobs.

Both companies, in news releases issued by the Georgia Department of Economic Development, cited the Atlanta area’s technology talent in announcing their expansions. The Atlanta area is a hub for information security, marketing and digital content.

OneLogin said it will create new jobs in sales, tech support, marketing, business development and sales engineering at its offices in Peachtree Corners.

“Atlanta is a fantastic market for world-class talent, and we’re thrilled to open our new Growth Center here,” said Brad Brooks, CEO and President, OneLogin.

Smarp, which is based in Finland, lists an office address at Colony Square in Midtown on its contact page. The company plans to add employees in sales and marketing positions.

Smarp CEO Roope Heinilä said in the news release talent availability was the company’s “primary criterion,” and Atlanta’s world-class universities and diverse talent pool made it a top pick for us.”

Information about potential incentives for each company was not immediately released.
