Where Can I Find It?

- By Sabine Morrow

Paul Mitchell Foaming Pommade, Citrus Scuttle cleaner, Bar Nøne nonalcoholic drinks,

Paul Mitchell Foaming Pommade has been my go-to hair product for the past four to five years. Suddenly, it cannot be found online or at local salons. The website I’ve ordered from forever suggests it’s out of stock, but does that mean discontinued? I’d rather shave my head than have to go through multiple new products to find a replacement that provides the perfect finish like my favorite go-to. Here’s hoping. Thank you. — Mary Leftridge Byrd, email

Mary, please walk away from the shaver. No drastic measures needed at this point. While Paul Mitchell Foaming Pommade wasn’t discontinued, the product packaging received a make- over, thus the out of stock notices. I was assured, however, that the formula remains the same. The Foaming Pommade is now firmly back in stock. I don’t know which web- site you used, but on paulmitchell.com, you’ll find a 5.1-ounce bottle for $15 and the 8.5-ounce for $22. In the Atlanta area, I’ve been checking in with Angela Lucido, the salon coordina- tor at Godiva Salon, 3209 Paces Ferry Place, Atlanta, 404-262-2998, to see when the salon could, once again, order Paul Mitchell Foaming Pommade. The 5.1-ounce is currently available for $13.99. Call the salon to check stock before you go because it doesn’t order a lot of the product at one time. Please help me find Citrus Scuttle by Kirby Home Care products. My source is out of business and this is the best cleaner for carpet and upholstery. Thank you. — Lillian Kapiloff, Griffin

Lillian, unfortunately, Kirby discontinued your favorite heavy duty cleaner a couple of years ago. The good news is that I found a bit of inventory on eBay. You can get a 4-ounce bottle of Kirby Citrus Scuttle liquid cleaner for $3.50 plus ship- ping, which takes the price to under $9.

So, a magazine mentioned Coke’s new Bar Nøne nonalcohol beverages — Spiced Ginger Mule, Sparkling Sangria, Dry Aged Cider and Bellini Spritz, which are in limited release in Atlanta. They all sound wonderful, but I have been unable to find them. Local bottle shops say their Coke reps haven’t mentioned them. The article mentioned Savi Provisions, but I went to the Buckhead locations today to no avail. I would love to have these beverages for a party. Can you find a local purveyor, or should I just give up and try to order online? — Fran Russell, email

No need to order Coca- Cola Company’s new bar- inspired soft drinks online, Fran. They’re available locally in some eateries and a few retail stores. Since they recently launched, the drinks might not have rolled out in all of the stores yet, but I found them at Holeman & Finch Bot- tle Shop, 2357 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, 404-841- 4070. Here you’ll find Bar Nøne Spicy Ginger Mule, Sparkling Sangria and Dry Aged Cider for $2 each or a four-pack for $8. Bar Nøne, available in 12-ounce amber glass bottles, come in at about 70 to 130 calories each and offer flavor twists from the addition of green tea, kombucha, and apple cider and white wine vin- egars.
