The debate over the border wall and the government shutdown is a divisive issue. On one side are those who think that spending $5.7 billion to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border would be expensive and ineffectiv­e. On the other are those who believe the U.S. must secure its borders and maintain that building a wall is an important government priority. We take great care with these types of stories and have tried to represent multiple points of view in our on-going shutdown coverage.
