1 Art dealer sentenced: A prominent New York City art dealer once accused by Alec Baldwin of fraud has been sentenced to 2½ years in prison after admitting she evaded paying more than $3 million in federal taxes. Mary Boone dropped her face into open hands as the judge announced the sentence Thursday in Manhattan. Her lawyer had requested home incarcerat­ion.

2 Plane production: European plane maker Airbus said Thursday it will stop making its superjumbo A380 in 2021 for lack of customers, abandoning the world’s biggest passenger jet and one of the aviation industry’s most ambitious and most troubled endeavors. The decision could affect up to 3,500 jobs and already cost the plane maker about $523 million in losses in 2018, Airbus said.
