Bruce Bochy said this will be his last season with the Giants, his 25th as an MLB manager. Bochy, 63, came to San Francisco from the San Diego Padres before the 2007 season. He led the Giants to three World Series titles.

■ Charlie Blackmon will be in right field for Colorado this season. Blackmon, who’s played more games in center field than anyone else in franchise history, said he is fine with the switch. Ian Desmond is slated to play center.

■ Cubs Chairman Tom Ricketts apologized to the team’s players and coaches for any distractio­n caused by racist emails written by his father. Joe Ricketts’ recently published emails included Islamophob­ic comments and comments about former President Barack Obama’s birthplace and education.

Tennis: Serena Williams returned to the top 10 in the tennis rankings for the first time since taking a break to have her first child. She dropped as low as 491st upon her return in March 2018 but is up to No. 10 after reaching two Grand Slam finals since.

NFL: Prosecutor­s say Bengals RB Mark Walton is facing a marijuana possession charge in Florida. He was arrested Friday on an unrelated battery charge. The drug charge came Jan. 16 after police said they smelled marijuana and found drugs in his SUV during a traffic stop in Miami-Dade County. Prosecutor­s did not make the drug charge public until Monday.
