Blank’s boat: Falcons owner Arthur Blank has spent $180 million on a massive 295-foot yacht, according to TMZ. The boat, which has 11 cabins and holds 23 guests and 33 crew members, has reportedly “just touched the water for the first time earlier this week.” TMZ said the yacht will undergo tests of its seaworthin­ess.

Cookies: A mystery man is being hailed as a hero for buying all the cookies some Girl Scouts had for sale, saying he did it so they wouldn’t have to stand outside anymore. South Carolina mother Kayla Dillard said on Facebook that the man paid $540 in cash for all the girls’ cookies, saying he did it“so y’all can get out of this cold” outside a store near Greenville, South Carolina.

Haley’s next move: Nikki Haley, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, is being nominated for a seat on the board of directors at Boeing Co. The defense contractor and aircraft manufactur­er said Tuesday that Haley will stand for election at its annual shareholde­r meeting on April 29.

Train moving: Passengers stranded on an Amtrak train for more than a day in a remote and snowed-in part of Oregon said the train was moving again Tuesday after it got stuck when it hit a tree that fell on the tracks.

Lawsuit: The UnitedAuto Workers has sued General Motors in federal court to stop the closing of plants in Ohio, Michigan and Maryland, claiming the company is forbidden from idling plants under its current contract. The lawsuit was filed Tuesday in Youngstown, Ohio. The plants at which the UAW is trying to prevent closures are in Lordstown, Ohio; White Marsh, Maryland; and Warren, Michigan.
