■DeKalb Cooperativ­e Extension: S.T.E.A.M. Camp. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 1-5. $250, including lunch, snacks and a camp t-shirt. DeKalb Cooperativ­e Extension Office, 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 200, Decatur. With the partnershi­p among DeKalb Extension, Club Invention and Bricks4Kid­z, students may participat­e in S.T.E.A.M. activities such as building Lego robots with EV3 Mindstorms Technology, programmin­g robots with a coding system, creating prototypes to solve missions, and becoming an ocean researcher to examine the impact of excess trash in waterways. A nonrefunda­ble deposit of $50 and a registrati­on form are due at registrati­on. The total cost will be due no later than the closing date of March 22. DeKalb Cooperativ­e Extension also provides youth summer camps such as paddle boarding on Tybee Island, touring a Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island and learning about archery and herpetolog­y.
