Purim Parade & Festival. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 17. Free. Beth Jacob Atlanta, 1855 Lavista Road, Atlanta. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and travel down Lavista Road with creative floats, special vehicles and costumed marchers. DeKalb County Public Safety COO Jack Lumpkin will be the Parade Marshal. Immediatel­y following the parade around 11:40 a.m., there will be a tribute to local law enforcemen­t. The festival will run from noon to 3 p.m., featuring free entertainm­ent for children, amusement park rides, games, crafts, festival food and music.
