DODGERS: The Dodgers topped 3 million fans at the earliest point in a season in franchise history when they drew 49,538 to their 62nd home game Friday. The Dodgers have drawn 3 million fans in eight consecutive seasons, and they’ve done it 33 times since moving to Los Angeles.

PHILLIES: OF Jay Bruce returned to the injured list, only one day after he returned following a three-week absence for a different injury. Bruce is out this time with a strained left flexor.

RED SOX: LHP David Price says he’s feeling better, just days after getting a cortisone shot to treat a cyst in his left wrist. Price (7-5 with a 4.36 ERA over 21 starts this season) was placed on the injured list Thursday after an MRI revealed the cyst. Price’s hope is the shot will dissolve the cyst but he couldn’t rule out the possibility of having minor surgery in the offseason, if the symptoms return.
