The former Gap Band singer known affectionately as “Uncle Charlie” is a familiar presence in Atlanta. He’s also a familiar name to many current stars, as his 2017 album, “In It to Win It” featured guest shots from Pitbull, Robin Thicke and T.I. Bruno Mars enlisted the legend to join him on a leg of his 2018 “24K Magic” tour, indicating the popularity of Uncle Charlie has been shared with new generations.

The hits keep racking up for Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, as their “Can’t Say I Ain’t Country” album returned them to the charts with “Simple” and “Talk You Out of It.” On the road to support the record since May, FGL also surprised fans this summer with an acoustic remake of their 2012 breakthrough smash, “Cruise,” as well as “Talk You Out of It.”
