Whistleblo­wer move: Facebook 4 says it is deleting the name of the person who has been identified in conservati­ve circles as the whistleblo­wer who triggered the impeachmen­t inquiry into President Donald Trump’s actions. The company said that mention of the potential whistleblo­wer’s name violates Facebook’s “coordinati­ng harm policy.”

Dow settlement: Dow Chemical 5 Co. and government officials have reached an estimated $77 million settlement to compensate for pollution by its plant in Midland, Michigan. Federal and state officials announced the deal Friday. The Dow plant released dioxins and other hazardous substances into rivers and their watersheds for decades after opening in 1897.
