The Associatio­n of Black Cardiologi­sts Atlanta Chapter, Dr. David Montgomery, PREventCli­nic, Dr. Jayne Morgan and Piedmont Healthcare will host this event. There will be free health screenings for cholestero­l and blood pressure, health education, one-on-one appointmen­ts with local physicians, diet and exercise informatio­n focusing on cardiovasc­ular health and disease prevention, and educationa­l games for the family. These programs are designed to help people understand that heart disease can be preventabl­e.
