Santa’s Fantastical, a holiday pop-up shop “that merges timeless traditions with innovative technology and immersive visuals,” returns this holiday season.

“Atlanta is our home, but we searched the world for talent and inspiration to make this the best year yet,” Santa’s Fantastical CEO Walt Geer said in a statement. “Our guests come here to laugh and share good times, create memories, start new traditions, and connect with their families and friends. You won’t find this combination of art, technology and nostalgia anywhere else.”

Geer and his wife, Sarah Blackman, told the AJC last year they dreamed up the concept a few years ago as they were thinking about how people interact with technology and social media.

In addition to last year’s live performances, selfie stations and dancing ornaments, this year’s fantastical includes nine new installments. In the North Pole Village, visitors “will feel like they are celebrating the holidays all around the world as they stroll down Town Square featuring architectural inspiration from around the globe,” the event’s press release states.

Also included this year is Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, where you can get made-from-scratch pretzels, cinnamon rolls, brownie bars and more.

At the Snowpalooza installment, visitors 12 and older can participate in a yeti-size digital snowball fight.

And guests 21 and older can take a break in Santa’s Secret ’Stache, a speakeasy with holiday-themed beverages. Check Instagram each day (santasfantastical) for the password to get in.

Santa’s Fantastical, which opened Nov. 15, is at Perimeter Pointe in Sandy Springs this year. Prices vary by date and time slots available.
