Where Can I Find It?

- By Sabine Morrow

Resolve Deep Clean, Virgil’s diet soda , Tulkoff horseradish and some bad news for fans of Nutrisystem English muffins.

Where can I find Resolve Deep Clean in powder form for carpets? They only seem to have the spray made by Resolve. What happened to the powder? — A. Denise Simpson, Fayetteville

Resolve Deep Clean powder carpet cleaner is still around. You just have to know where to look. I found an 18-ounce canister for $9.99 at Miles Hardware, 2006 Highway 54, Peachtree City, 770-4877533. The cleaner is formulated to remove ground-in dirt and odors. It cleans up to an 8 feet-by-10 feet area and safely cleans stain-resistant carpets. Note that it’s not made for certain carpets, including antique and hand-woven rugs.

Please help me find a place where I can get bottles of Virgil’s diet soda in the black cherry cream flavor. I don’t drink soda a lot, but when I have one, this is my very favorite. I prefer a bottle over a can. Help. Thanks for your efforts. Glen W., email

Glen, I found a place that keeps Virgil’s Zero Sugar Black Cherry Cream Soda on the shelves pretty regularly. Check out DeKalb Farmers Market, 3000 E. Ponce de Leon Ave.,

Decatur, 404-377-6400. You’ll find four-packs of 12-ounce glass bottles for $3.99. The company sweetens Virgil’s Zero Sugar Black Cherry Cream Soda with a proprietary natural sweetener blend that includes stevia and monk fruit.

My husband and I love horseradish. The hotter the better. Since moving to Georgia a couple of years ago, I have not found Tulkoff extra-hot horseradish at the market. I’m not looking for the creamy sauce. I saw where I could order it online but that isn’t something I’m comfortable with. We would be so pleased if you could find this for us. Our shrimp cocktail sauce and the sour cream sauce for roast beef is not the same without it. Thank you. Mrs. B. Jenkins, Atlanta

The Tulkoffs began their Baltimore-based family business in the 1930s. Although they started out selling produce, today the company turns out a variety of horseradish based condiments. You’ll find 8-ounce jars of Tulkoff extrahot horseradish for $3.29 at Publix, 2969 N. Druid Hills Road, Atlanta, 404-638-6022. Ingredients include ground horseradish, vinegar and oil.

You can stop looking

Chuck Rothman in Johns Creek has been looking for Nutrisystem brand English muffins because they’re small, made with whole grains, and – bonus – they taste good. I contacted the company and found out that although Nutrisystem offers the muffins in prepared breakfast sandwich combinations with egg and turkey sausage or Canadianstyle turkey bacon, it no longer sells the English muffins as a stand-alone item.
