As news of the coronaviru­s continues to develop, The Atlanta Journal-Constituti­on remains committed to monitoring events, festivals, venues, and things to do in metro Atlanta that are canceled or changed. Below is a running list of events in and around the city that have been altered because of a response to coronaviru­s concerns.

■ American Society on Aging: Organizers cancel Atlanta conference.

■ Atlanta Botanical Garden: The garden has canceled its March 20 Garden Party. It has postponed the grand opening events for its children’s gardens in Gainesvill­e on March 20 and 21.

■ Atlanta Community

Food Bank: The annual Hunger Walk Run on Sunday is canceled because of COVID-19. The organizati­on is holding a virtual walk, in place of the run.

■ American Craft Show:

Craft fair planned for Cobb Galleria Centre canceled.

■ Atlanta History Center:

Author Lori Gottlieb cancels upcoming Atlanta History Center talk.

■ Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade: “The Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade is canceling this year’s event due to the growing concerns about the COVID-19 virus.” — Via atlantastp­ats.com

■ Atlanta Motor Speedway: This weekend’s scheduled races in Hampton have been postponed.

■ Atlanta National College Fair: Atlanta National College Fair on Sunday canceled.

■ Atlanta Science Festival Expo: Atlanta Science Festival cancels expo due to coronaviru­s pandemic.

■ Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: Orchestra subs one violin maestro for another.

■ Avalon: Luck of Avalon St. Patrick’s Day event canceled over coronaviru­s concerns.

■ Avondale Estates events: All public events that were permitted by the city for the remainder of March and April will be postponed or canceled.

Blossom Festival: The festival and a 5K race scheduled for a week earlier, will no longer happen.

■ Buford: 2020 Spring Juried Art Exhibit Tannery Row Artist Colony canceled.

■ Cobb cities: Kennesaw and Smyrna cancel events and some public meetings.

Several events have been canceled, including the Model Train Show and Atlanta Home Show.

■ Dad’s Garage: Dad’s Garage pushes carnival fundraiser to late summer.

■ Georgia Chamber of Commerce: Georgia Chamber postpones upcoming events.

■ Georgia Tech: Georgia Tech Cognitive Aging conference postponed.

■ Georgia World Congress Center: CEFGA CareerExpo, which introduces middle school and high school students to building trades, has been canceled.

■ Fox Theatre: NPR’s taping of“Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me!” canceled.

■ Hinman Dental Meeting:

Annual dental meeting held in Atlanta canceled.

■ High Museum of Art:

The region’s premiere museum is closed indefinite­ly due to the coronaviru­s pandemic. “Will close to the public effective immediatel­y and will remain closed as we continue to assess and monitor developmen­ts.”

■ Infinite Energy Arena:

Reba McEntire postpones tour until summer.

■ Irish Fest: Norcross’ Irish Fest today and its two Easter Egg Hunts on April 11 are canceled.

80th birthday party for congressma­n is canceled.

■ The World Natural Hair and Healthy Lifestyle

Event: Taliah Waajid World Natural Hair Show is being postponed. Guests can opt to have their tickets transferre­d to another event in September.

■ Zac Brown Band: Zac Brown Band postpones spring dates on “The Owl” tour.
