Harris, a public relations executive who marched for civil rights before finding a midlife calling in the ministry, becoming the first woman ordained as a bishop in the Episcopal Church and worldwide Anglican Communion, died March 13 at a hospice center in Lincoln, Massachusetts. She was 89.

Maryland delays primary: Maryland has been added to the list of states that will not hold presidential primaries this spring to minimize the threat of coronavirus. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced Tuesday that the April 28 democratic presidential primary would be postponed to June 2, according to tweet from WUSA-9 reporter Lorenzo Hall.
Biden declared winner: Joe Biden has been declared the winner of last week’s Democratic presidential primary in Washington state, giving him victories in five out of six states that voted March 10.
