1 COLLEGE BASKETBALL:

Louisville forward Jordan Nwora announced he will enter the NBA draft. Nwora was an Associated Press All-ACC first team and All -America third team pick as a junior and averaged 18 points and 7.7 rebounds per game while shooting 44% from the field.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL: 2

Kentucky guard Tyrese Maxey will enter the NBA draft, becoming the second Wildcats starter in as many days to turn pro and forego his remaining collegiate eligibilit­y. Maxey finished the season tied for second in scoring on the team at 14 points per game. The 6-foot-3 freshman shot nearly 43% with 33 3-pointers and also averaged 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists while starting 28 of 31 games for the SEC champions. Maxey’s decision came one day after sophomore point guard Ashton Hagans announced he will enter the draft.

3 COLLEGE BASKETBALL:

Florida guard Scottie Lewis, one of the SEC’s top defenders, is returning for his sophomore season, he said Monday via social media.

PRO GOLF: 4

Two more European Tour events were called off because of the coronaviru­s pandemic, ensuring there will be no play until the end of June at the earliest. The Trophée Hassan II (scheduled to be played in Morocco from June 4-7) and the Scandinavi­an Mixed tournament the following week in Stockholm were canceled. Eleven tour events have been either postponed or canceled because of the virus outbreak. The next potential tournament is the BMW Internatio­nal Open in Germany from June 25-28.

Ex-Atlético Madrid coach Radomir Antic — who led the club to the Spanish league and Copa del Rey titles in 1996, and also briefly coached for Real Madrid and Barcelona — died at age 71, Atlético Madrid said without providing a cause of death.
