Municipal sites to begin reopening Monday
Most of Tyrone’s government buildings and recreation sites will reopen to the public at 8 a.m. Monday.
Town Hall, the police department and municipal court, the recreation center and all parks and playgrounds except the basketball court will be available with some restrictions. Employees and visitors will be required to practice social distancing, and the use of face masks is encouraged. Anyone who enters any office will have their temperature taken, and those with a fever will not be allowed inside. Residents are still asked to conduct business by phone, email or at tyrone.org whenever possible.
Starting Tuesday, the Tyrone
Public Library is reopening with curbside service 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Patrons can search for and reserve books at gapines.org and pick them up in front of the building.
