Papa John’s is still logging accelerated sales growth, according to a midquarter business update, as Americans wary of COVID-19 continue to order in.

The Louisville-based pizza chain said Wednesday that its North American restaurants’ preliminary comparable sales growth was almost 34% from April 27 through May 24 and that it will continue to provide monthly sales updates.

On Tuesday, Michigan-based Domino’s said that U.S. comparable store sales were up 21% from April 20 through May 17, though the company said it is unsure how long the trend will last.

TikTok’s parent ByteDance generated more than $3 billion of net profit on over $17 billion in revenue last year, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

Revenue for last year was more than double the company’s tally of about $7.4 billion in 2018, propelled by phenomenal growth in user traffic.

A Chinese flooring manufacturer will open a plant in Murray County, creating 315 jobs in northwest Georgia, a region that’s struggled with high unemployment rates.

Huali Floors will invest $27 million to build a manufacturing facility and its U.S. headquarters near Chatsworth, according to Gov. Brian Kemp’s office.

Huali will renovate a 400,000 square-foot facility formerly occupied by Mattex, which made carpet backing. Construction is expected to start in the fourth quarter, a state spokeswoman said. The company will make stone-plastic composite flooring at the plant.

The facility will be located near the Appalachian Regional Port, a rail and truck depot designed to improve connections with the Savannah ports and trigger economic development. Georgia exported $485 million of floor covering products last year.
