This market is sponsored by Community Farmers Markets. Hand-sanitizing is mandatory for entering the market space. One customer will be allowed in each booth at a time, with the vendor handling the products. Credit cards are preferred at checkout. All customers must wear masks and must not bring their dogs. ■ Dunwoody: Bee City. In time for World Bee Day, signs in Dunwoody designate the city as a Bee City USA partner with the Xerces Society. “Bee Dunwoody” is a volunteer group that is co-chaired by Laura Johnson, a resident beekeeper, and Nathan Sparks, vice-chair of the Dunwoody Sustainability Committee. Last year Dunwoody was named a Bee City with a commitment toward preserving pollinators in the community by planting native, pollinator-friendly plants and avoiding the spraying of pesticides that kill insects. Members of the Sustainability Committee will host future events at the Dunwoody Community Garden & Orchard and Dunwoody Nature Center to promote pollinators and teach about their benefits to the ecosystem.
