Where Can I Find It?

- By Sabine Morrow

Mayomust, erasable food labels and a place that can develop photos from old negatives,

Q: It is very difficult for me to find Mayomust. I know it’s a fairly new product, but I’ve only found it once or twice, and I really like to use it when making macaroni salad and especially deviled eggs. Can you please tell me if it’s still available? Thank you for your help. My deviled eggs are not the same without it. — Peg Brown, Norcross

A: Mayomust is the latest addition to the line of condiment mashups Heinz came up with a while back. It includes Mayochup (mayonnaise and ketchup) and Mayocue (mayonnaise and barbecue sauce). Although the name easily explains that the condiment is a blend of mayonnaise and mustard, yellow, not Dijon, Mayomust got quite a lot of kidding for its odd moniker. You’ll be glad to know that I found a steady source of Mayomust for you. Ingles Market, 5075 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners, 770-448-7876, stocks 19-ounce squeeze bottles for $5.78 each.

Q: Can you help find a photo developer who can develop photos from negatives from the 1950s? They are approximately 2-3/4 by 2-3/4 inches. I have about 12 negatives from my childhood that I would like developed. Thank you in advance. — Debra Dickerson, Sugar Hill

A: Debra, reach out to The Photo Spot, 9459 Highway 5, Douglasville, 770-9421470. Owner Sonny Buck has been in the photo finishing business for nearly 20 years. The photo lab offers myriad services, including film processing. If your film is color, then it can be processed in the shop using a processing machine. However, if it’s black-and-white film, it will need to be hand processed, and Buck sends it out to a processor who will develop your film by hand. Keep in mind that if your negatives have been exposed to air or light over the past 60 years or so, they might no longer be worth developing, but that’s something that you can find out at The Photo Spot.
