11 locations added to summer meals program

Gwinnett has added 11 additional locations to the county’s summer meals program bringing the total to 31 sites for free graband-go breakfasts andlunches for children 18 years old and younger. Parents, caregivers and community groups can pick up nutritious meals to take home to children, or children can arrange to pick up their own meals. Registrati­on is not required.

Meals can be picked up 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. while supplies last at:

■ Alexander Park, 800 Old Snellville Highway, Lawrencevi­lle

■ Bogan Park, 2723 North Bogan Road in Buford

■ Collins Hill Park, 2225 Collins Hill Road in Lawrencevi­lle

■ Dacula Park Activity Building, 2735 Auburn Ave. in Dacula

■ E.E. Robinson Park, 885 Level Creek Road in Sugar Hill

■ George Pierce Park, 55 Buford Highway in Suwanee

■ Harbins Park, 2995 Luke Edwards Road in Dacula

■ Mountain Park Activity Building, 1063 Rockbridge Road in Stone Mountain

■ OneStop Buford, 2755 Sawnee Ave. in Buford

■ Peachtree Ridge Park, 3170 Suwanee Creek Road in Suwanee

■ South Gwinnett Park, 2115 McGee Road in Snellville

In addition, the Five Forks Branch L ibrary, 2780 Five Forks-Trickum Road in Lawrencevi­lle, will serve meals as part of the program beginning Monday, July 6.

Emergency meal kits and informatio­n are available at each location for residents ages 60 and older who need assistance with hunger, health or mobility issues.
