Where can I find it?

-

I bought 20 years ago from Huff Furniture in Buckhead. Over the years, the bases have become pitted and tarnished, and I am hoping you can point me in the direction of a repair person. Thank you. I love your column! — Dorothy Gutschenritter, Roswell

A: Thank you, Dorothy. Your acrylic chairs are stunning. Call Mack McElyea at Chrome It!, 703 Fairgate Road, Marietta, 770-428-2671. He’s been in the chrome plating business for 58 years and is happy to take a look at your chairs to see how to go about making them look new again. He does chrome plating mostly on vintage auto parts, but he will work on other items but warns that turnaround time might take some patience on your part. You can see some of his work at chromeatlanta.com.

Q: Thank you for your column. I always look forward to reading it each week. I moved here a year ago from South Carolina, and a product I used often for added flavor was Zatarain’s Creole mustard. I’ve been to

Walmart, Publix and Kroger but haven’t been able to find it. Can you tell me if it is available in this area? Thank you for your help. — Athena Davies, Marietta

A: Thank you for reading, Athena. You’ll be glad to know that Zatarain’s Creole stone ground mustard is available in your area. The mustard has been produced in Louisiana since the late 1800s. You’ll find 5.25-ounce jars of Zatarain’s, which now is owned by McCormick, for $3.45 each at The Cajun Meat Company, 2211 Roswell Road, Marietta, 770-321-4300. The store, which stocks some Cajun groceries along with its well-known turducken, has been serving the area for nearly 20 years. You can check out the website at cajunmeatcompany.com.
