Chipper Jones will make his regular-season debut in his new job as an ESPN analyst by calling games involving the team he knows best: the Braves. Jones and play-byplay announcer Jon “Boog” Sciambi will work the Braves-Mets games Friday and July 26.

Jones, a Hall of Famer who played for the Braves for 19 seasons, joined ESPN as an MLB game analyst in February. After the opening weekend of the season, his main role will be on weeknight telecasts.
