Max Pacioretty scored twice and added an assist in Edmonton, Alberta, and the Vegas Golden Knights rallied for three goals in the third period to beat the Vancouver Canucks 5-3 Sunday night. The Golden Knights took a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven second-round series. With a win in Game 5 today, Vegas can eliminate Vancouver, the last Canadian team from the postseason.

PRO SOCCER:

Jordan Morris scored two goals less than a minute apart early in the second half, and Seattle rolled past Los Angeles FC 3-1 Sunday night in the Sounders’ first home match in 5½ months. Diego Rossi scored in the 60th minute but LAFC lost consecutiv­e matches for the first time since the 2018 season . ... In Tennessee, Anibal Godoy scored his first goal in three years, Joe Willis had five saves and Nashville FC beat Inter Miami 1-0 in a matchup of expansion teams.

PRO SOCCER:

Ciro Immobile extended his contract with Lazio two years through 2025. In the Serie A season that ended last month, Immobile scored 36 goals to match Gonzalo Higuain’s Italian league record. The new deal reportedly raises his annual salary from $4.2 million to $4.8 million. ... Zlatan Ibrahimovi­c signed a oneseason contract with AC Milan.

HORSE RACING:

Gamine is the even-money morning-line favorite for Friday’s Kentucky Oaks after drawing the No. 5 post position in the marquee race for 3-year-old fillies. Swiss Skydiver will start from the No. 1 post as the 8-5 second choice at Churchill Downs, with Speech at 5-1 from the No. 4 post.

HORSE RACING:

D. Wayne Lukas, a four-time Kentucky Derbywinni­ng trainer, is back at his barn after recovering from COVID-19. Lukas, who turns 85 Wednesday, said he got “really sick.” He has 14 Triple Crown wins, most recently the 2013 Preakness with Oxbow.
