■ Doggy Dip Day by the Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Department. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 12-13. $10/dog/hour. Murphey Candler Pool, Candler Lake W. NE, Brookhaven. Murphey Candler Park, 1551 W. Nancy Creek Drive, Brookhaven. Participan­ts are encouraged to register beforehand. Up to 15 dogs per hour will be allowed in the pool, and only two people per dog. Dog owners only will be allowed to wade in up to their knees, and lifeguards will be present. The time allotted for each dog is one hour, with time slots every hour from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participan­ts are allowed to sign up for multiple hours, but they will need to pay $10 for each time slot per dog. Pet owners also will need to sign a COVID-19 pool waiver upon arrival if they have not visited Murphey Candler Pool this summer.
