Thousands walk together each year to support HDSA’s fight to improve lives affected by Huntington’s disease (HD) and their families. Choose your own course — your driveway, neighborhood, in your house or on a treadmill. HD is a fatal genetic disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain. Breakfast and on-site registration start at 8 a.m. followed by the shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Sponsorships are available, ranging from $500 for a hole sponsor to $10,000 for a platinum sponsorship, which includes registration for four foursomes and prominent corporate signage. Funds raised will help support the Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC), based in Stone Mountain, a nonprofit that supplies home medical equipment (HME) to people with disabilities and their caregivers.
