POWER RANKINGS
1. Notre Dame (8-0, 7-0 ACC): The Fighting Irish play just their fifth Friday game in the last 100 years and are still on track for their first ACC title game and a rematch of this season's classic against Clemson.
2. Clemson (7-1, 6-1): Clemson stewed after a last-hour call-off, but the Tigers get an extra week of rest for the Hokies, whom they've beaten five times straight.
3. Miami (7-1, 6-1): COVID-19 issues within the program prompted a schedule shuffle, so the Hurricanes have a second week off after squeaking past Virginia Tech.
4. North Carolina (6-2, 6-2): Back in the AP Top 25, UNC faces Notre Dame Friday with one of the highest-powered offenses in program history.
5. N.C. State (6-3, 5-3): The Wolfpack dealt then-no. 21 Liberty its first loss of the season. That momentum should roll into this weekend's game at Syracuse.
6. Wake Forest (4-3, 3-3): Wake will have two weeks to prepare for Miami after having games against Duke and Louisville altered due to coronavirus issues.
7. Boston College (5-4, 4-4): The Eagles face Louisville coming off their first week of rest after opening with nine straight games.
8. Pitt (5-4, 4-4): Kenny Pickett threw for 404 yards and accounted for three touchdowns in the short-handed Panthers' win over Virginia Tech last week.
9. Virginia (4-4, 3-4): The Cavaliers won their third straight with a nonconference romp over Abilene Christian and look to stay hot at Florida State.
10. Virginia Tech (4-5, 4-4): The Hokies had lost a pair of close ones, but Pitt throttled Virginia Tech by 33 points last week for their third straight loss.
11. Louisville (3-6, 2-6): The Cardinals blanked Syracuse 30-0 last week with a replenished defense.
12. Georgia Tech (2-5, 2-4): The Yellow Jackets haven't taken the field since an Oct. 31 game against Notre Dame.
13. Florida State (2-6, 1-6): The Seminoles were the target of Clemson coach Dabo Swinney's ire and aren't likely to find any consolation today against Virginia.
14. Duke (2-6, 1-6): Duke looks to build on a three-game series winning streak against Georgia Tech with a primetime matchup.
15. Syracuse (1-8, 1-7): Coming off a scoreless showing against Louisville, the Orange host a pumped-up Wolfpack.
