1 PRO GOLF: After 65 years of Westwood One handling radio coverage of the Masters, that now falls to Siriusxm. Siriusxm already handles the radio playby-play for the PGA Tour. It said it would announce its team of golf voices closer to the April 8-11 Masters. Siriusxm and Augusta National also are collaborat­ing on a podcast launched last week called “The Masters Show,” which drops every Monday until the Masters.

2 PRO SOCCER: Concussion substitute­s will be trialled in the Premier League in response to mounting concern over head injuries, clubs agreed Wednesday. Teams will be allowed to make up to two additional substituti­ons for players with suspected or confirmed concussion. The trial will begin once the league resolves with FIFA and football’s global lawmaking body, IFAB, how to deal with private medical informatio­n.

3 PRO BASKETBALL: In the midst of one of his best seasons, Trail Blazers guard CJ Mccollum has suffered a hairline fracture in his left foot. Mccollum will wear a walking boot and be evaluated in four weeks. Mccollum was averaging a career-best 26.7 points, as well as five assists, when he was injured Saturday against the Hawks.

4 COLLEGE BASKETBALL:

Georgetown’s game at Xavier scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed because of a coronaviru­s-related issue in the Hoyas’ program. No makeup date was announced immediatel­y. This marks four games in a row called off for Georgetown because of COVID-19 and six overall.

5 PRO TENNIS: The U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championsh­ip in Houston scheduled for April 3-11 has been scrapped for the second year in a row because of the coronaviru­s pandemic. The cancellati­on is part of a series of changes to the men’s tennis calendar announced by the ATP on Wednesday.
