Mask shunners hurt work to overcome COVID-19
A Jan. 6 video shows six members of Congress refusing to wear masks while in a crowded room during the U.S. Capitol Building invasion. Unfortunately, the choice to not wear masks has consequences for us all. The more who choose to wear masks, the better we control COVID-19, the safer we and others are from COVID-19, and the easier it will be to get children back into school, for businesses to survive, for jobs to be saved, to play and watch sports, and to return to greater normality. If we choose to wear masks, we support doing these things. If we choose not to wear masks, we undercut those who do. We own the consequences of our choices.
