Flyers 3, SABRES 0: Brian Elliott stopped 23 shots to shut out Buffalo for a second time this season. Scott Laughton scored a breakaway goal to make it 3-0 Philadelph­ia late in the second period.

Capitals 5, DEVILS 2: Garnet Hathaway and Daniel Sprong scored in the opening 5:06 for Washington. Lars Eller added the third goal in the first. Nico Hischier and Pavel Zacha scored for New Jersey.

Flames 6, SENATORS 3 : Calgary got goals from six players in a win over Ottawa. Juuso Valimaki, Mikael Backlund, Elias Lindholm, Sean Monahan, Andrew Mangiapane and Matthew Tkachuk scored for the Flames.

Blue Jackets at PREDATORS, late: Filip Forsberg has 17 total points for the Predators, nine goals and eight assists. Cam Atkinson has 16 total points while scoring eight goals and totaling eight assists for the Blue Jackets.

Maple Leafs at OILERS, late : Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews was out for Saturday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers because of a sore wrist. Toronto coach Sheldon Keefe announced the decision before the start of a three-game series between these teams.

Penguins at ISLANDERS, late : Mathew Barzal has 17 total points for the Islanders, seven goals and 10 assists. Sidney Crosby leads the Penguins with 10 total assists and has 16 points.

Stars at LIGHTNING, late : Steven Stamkos leads the Lightning with nine goals and has 17 points. Joe Pavelski leads the Stars with a plus-five in 15 games this season.

Hurricanes at PANTHERS, late: Aleksander Barkov Jr. leads the Panthers with eight goals, adding 12 assists and collecting 20 points. Nino Niederreit­er leads the Hurricanes with a plus-11 in 19 games this season.

Red Wings at BLACKHAWKS, late: Patrick Kane leads the Blackhawks with 21 assists and has 31 points this season. Bobby Ryan leads the Red Wings with 11 points, scoring five goals and collecting six assists.

Kings at WILD, late: The Minnesota Wild blitzed the Los Angeles Kings with three goals in a span of just over three minutes in the first period and held on to win 3-1 on Friday night.

Avalanche at COYOTES, late: Christian Dvorak leads the Coyotes with nine goals and has 16 points. Nathan MacKinnon leads the Avalanche with 19 points, scoring four goals and adding 15 assists.

Golden Knights at DUCKS, late: Jani Hakanpaa leads the Ducks with a plusthree in 20 games this season. Mark Stone leads the Golden Knights with 17 points, scoring four goals and registerin­g 13 assists.

Canadiens at JETS, late: Neal Pionk has seven assists over the last 10 games for Winnipeg. Jeff Petry has 18 total points while scoring six goals and totaling 12 assists for the Canadiens.

Blues at SHARKS, late: Evander Kane has three goals and five assists over the last 10 games for San Jose. Brayden Schenn leads the Blues with nine goals and has 16 points.
