1 Vance won’t run again: Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., who is overseeing a criminal investigat­ion into former President Donald Trump, said Friday he won’t seek reelection when his term expires at the end of the year. He held off on making his decision official while the U.S. Supreme Court weighed whether his office could obtain Trump’s tax records. The court ruled in Vance’s favor last month.

2 Winners claim big jackpot: A four-member suburban Detroit lottery club that drew the winning number for the $1.05 billion Mega Millions jackpot in January will receive $557 million after taxes, lottery officials said Friday. The names of the four club members were not released.

3 No-taunting bill in Kentucky: It could become a crime to taunt a police officer in Kentucky, under a bill that has passed the state Senate. 4 Arrest in Uber attack: A woman was arrested Thursday on suspicion of pepper-spraying an Uber driver in San Francisco who was coughed at and insulted after he demanded a passenger wear a mask, police announced. Malaysia King, 24, was arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of assault with a caustic chemical, assault and battery and other charges.

5 Turkey-egypt-relations warm: Turkey said it had resumed diplomatic contacts with Egypt, in a sign it’s making progress in rebooting relations with some Arab nations strained for years over Islamist politics and regional conflicts. The talks are at the “intelligen­ce and foreign ministry levels,” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, according to state-run Anadolu Agency.
