PRO BASKETBALL: The NBA fined Toronto coach Nick Nurse $50,000 for throwing a facemask behind the scorer’s table and toward the stands, and for directing profanity toward game officials before leaving the floor at the end of a game Friday. He was upset at the end of Toronto’s 115112 loss to Utah, a game in which the Jazz took 41 free throws, compared with the Raptors’ 14.

PRO GOLF: Justin Harding held on to his overnight lead to win the European Tour’s Kenya Open by two shots over Kurt Kitayama of the United States with a 5-under 66 in the final round. The South African claimed his second tour title. He finished 21 under overall.

PRO TENNIS: Serena Williams, citing recent oral surgery, is the latest Grand Slam champ to withdraw from the Miami Open. Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer announced earlier they would skip the tournament, which begins Tuesday.

PRO TENNIS: Daria Kasatkina won the St. Petersburg (Russia) Ladies Trophy when wild card Margarita Gasparyan retired from their all-russian final with a lower back injury. Kasatkina was leading 6-3, 2-1 when Gasparyan retired. Kasatkina became the first player to win two WTA tournament­s this year after winning in Melbourne, Australia last month.

AUTO RACING:

Sebastien Bourdais grabbed the lead on a restart with 19 minutes remaining in the Twelve Hours of Sebring, then held off a furious challenge from the defending winner Saturday night to give Jdc-miller Motorsport­s the victory in the IMSA sports car endurance event in Sebring, Florida. Bourdais was missing the rear wing on his Cadillac DPI when he crossed the finish line 1.435 seconds ahead of Harry Tincknell in the Multimatic Motorsport­s entry. Bourdais was part of an all-french driver lineup that included Tristan Vautier and Loic Duval.
