Tennessee flooding death: Flash flooding in Tennessee has claimed a fifth victim after authoritie­s said a man in his 60s drove his car around barricades and apparently drowned. The death occurred Sunday night west of Nashville, Cheatham County Emergency Management Director Edwin Hogan told news outlets.

More charges against Maxwell:

Federal prosecutor­s filed new sex-traffickin­g charges against Ghislaine Maxwell, the longtime companion of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The supersedin­g indictment from the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office cites a new unidentifi­ed victim, who was 14 years old when she was brought into Epstein’s circle by Maxwell around 2001, according to prosecutor­s.

Arrest in Zoom killing: A man has been charged with stabbing his mother and uncle to death in an attack last week that the woman’s co-workers witnessed on a Zoom call, prosecutor­s said Monday. Deputies arrested Robert Anderson Cotton, 32, at the scene in suburban Los Angeles.
